  • 1946: The business began as Ducane Brothers Metal Fabricating and soon moved to Little Ferry, New Jersey, to build warm-air furnaces.
  • 1968: Renamed The Ducane Company, it moved its base to Barnwell, South Carolina.
  • 1999: Lennox bought the Ducane heating and cooling business.
  • 2004: Weber bought the Ducane gas grill line, leaving the HVAC brand with Lennox.
