Appliance Age — Real data. Real answers.

How old is my Miele?

A serial number alone may not establish the age of your Miele equipment. Look for a manufacture date on the rating label, then check original documents or contact the manufacturer if the date is missing.

We recognize Miele. We’re still building its age decoder.

You can still scan the data plate to extract the brand, model and serial and check available recall information. We won’t guess the manufacture date.

Send three clear photos: the whole appliance, brand/model area and full data plate. Qualifying approved contributions earn 50 free successful lookups, valid for 12 months from approval.

Miele age can't be read from the serial number

Miele doesn't publish a way to work out an appliance's age from its serial number. Look over the rating plate carefully, a production date is sometimes printed on it. If there's no printed date, Miele Customer Service can look it up from the model and serial number.

Look on the rating plate for a printed production or manufacture date.

United States support: 1-888-996-4353

An installation invoice or service record can help establish the equipment’s history. A standards revision year, patent date or manual copyright date is not its manufacture date.
