Payne equipment was mainly gas furnaces, central air conditioners and heat pumps, plus matching coils and fan coils; new sales now carry the WeatherMaker name, though Payne owner's manuals and warranty papers remain online.

Payne was a long-running Carrier-owned brand of furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps, positioned as Carrier's value line. Carrier has since folded the name into its WeatherMaker brand, and payne.com now points owners of existing Payne systems to manuals, warranty documents and their installing dealer.
